David Landon

In cart Not available Out of stock

The ALL NEW fifth c.d. of all original hard driving blues-rock music from David Landon. “I Like It Too Much” is a departure from his strictly 4-piece band format of his previous 2 releases in that Landon has now added a full horn section and several special guests musicians for an even bigger sound.

Mr. Landon is once again joined in the studio by his blues lover’s dream band featuring Steve Evans on bass (Ray Manzarek, Roy Rodgers), Randy Hayes on drums (Chris Cain, Coco Montoya) and Tony Stead on organ (Sly Stone, Tommy Castro). Special guests include Melvin Seals (Jerry Garcia Band), Steve Willis (Elvin Bishop) and Alvon Johnson, as well as a 4-piece horn section made up of the bay area’s best players.

Release Date: 2012

Chasin' The Blues

Chasin' The Blues

David Landon

In cart Not available Out of stock

Chasin' The Blues is David Landon's interpretation of some old classic as well as some lost gems in blues music. Add to that a few originals and a couple of Hendrix tunes and you have a c.d. that will stay parked in your c.d. player for a long time. The album was recorded live in the studio with a trio or quartet. David Landon also brought in a four piece horn section for B.B. King's “Woke Up This Morning”. Release date: 1999
