“David Landon creates plenty of excitement with his liquid heat on the guitar.” — Blues Access Magazine.
With a soul-filled feel and scorching tone, David has wowed audiences at every performance.
David started playing guitar at the age of 12 and after studying privately for 5 years while attending college in Boston, David moved to Paris, France to woodshed and perfect his craft for 6 to 7 hours each day. It was there that he literally stopped traffic with his four-piece band consisting of guitar, bass, drums and sax when they played on the streets of the Latin Quarter. Soon David and his band moved indoors and consequently became a steady fixture in the Paris club scene for the next five years as well as throughout Europe at a wide variety of venues.
In 1994 David returned to the U.S and took up residence in the San Francisco Bay Area where he currently lives and performs with his band. In addition, David is a busy session guitar player and producer working with a wide variety of artists.
Over the years David has also played in the band’s of many other notable musicians including Melvin Seals, Lenny Williams, Bobby Reed, Earl Thomas, Frankie Lee, Bobby Webb and Deacon Jones, to name just a few. |
